Croptide is a sensors technology and cloud based solution which provides actionable insights that help growers to achieve higher yields and improved crop quality with minimal inputs (water, fertiliser, carbon emissions, labour and others). It's sensors precisely reads plant status directly from the stem of plants such as grapevines and apple trees. Croptide creates a digital record of plant status – currently the sensor can record water status (transpiration, water potential, and response to rainfall and irrigation) through a network of sensors attached directly to plant trunks which sends key information to the cloud. This inforation is then used to build the relationships between the state of plants through a season and the specific fruit quality parameters and yield outcome.
