Launched in 2021, the Digital Seed System is a web based digital solution which enables an efficient seed system in Nepal in which the government, seed companies, private sector actors, and farmers can access information and services. Its provides all agri stakeholders including farmers a digitally enabled seed catalogue and countrywide seed balance sheet. Digitally Enabled Seed System aggregates seed demand and supply and shares the data in realtime and also enables users to obtain updated information on released and registered seed varieties available in Nepal.
