Developed jointly by National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance) is a web and mobile app based digital platform that provides a single interface for accessing pan-India e-governance services. It integrates services from Central to Local Government bodies, providing citizens with unified access through mobile applications (iOS, Android), website, chatbot, and voice bot interfaces. It also aggregates multiple government services, document access (Aadhaar, PAN, etc.), user engagement tools, and transaction management capabilities across various sectors including healthcare, agriculture, education, and social security. The solution implements multi-channel service delivery with support in multiple Indian languages, facilitating seamless citizen-government interactions through a standardized interface.
