AtoANI iCROP
Philippines
AtoANI is a social enterprise that distributes fresh produce to its partner B2B customers through its partner farmers, using a produce-to-demand agriculture model. It supports farming organizations, government institutions and commercial farmers through its proprietary analytics recommendation platform, AtoANI iCROP. Under the AtoANI iCROP solution, farmers are given recommendations on what to plant using machine learning and data on various crop-growing factors. The solution also supports transparency, built into the platform for revenue, expenses generated from transactions and the amount of carbon sequestered for the farmers with the switch to regenerative agriculture. These features distinguish AtoANI from existing farm-to-market solutions for fresh produce, which do not address crop wastage on a preventative, data-based level. The AtoANI iCROP solution expands in target and monetization beyond traditional distribution methods by partnering with the Department of Agriculture SAAD. This collaboration extends the platform to its beneficiary farmers, helping them with data-driven crop growth and generating recurring revenue for AtoANI through a subscription model and sustainability credits.

Measurable positive impact(s) by Digital Solution (DS) on target users and/or audience
For the partner farmers, pricing was improved to 10 – 15% higher than farm gate and with zero percent crop wastage to date for its 199 partner farmers in 10 farming locations. Add to this, farmers are able to maximize use of land for a variety of high-value crops instead of their typical monocropping set-up. With AtoANI iCROP initially managed internally by AtoANI for its partner farmers, it is able to help avoid ~344 tons of synthetic fertilizers, ~70.1 tons of crop waste, and sequester 1,662 tons of carbon. Following this, the AtoANI iCROP solution targets to monetize outside the distribution model with its collaboration with Department of Agriculture SAAD to extend the platform to its beneficiary farmers, which would help the farmers with data-driven crop growing and generate recurring revenue for AtoANI through a subscription and sustainability credits business model.
