CLASS (Crop Loss Assessment Support System)
India
Developed by Agrotech India, CLASS (Crop Loss Assessment Support System) is a digital solution for farm management which uses remote sensing technology and drones to assess crop yield and loss, analyzing data through millions of algorithms. It operates in both automated and interactive modes, facilitating the collection, storage, and processing of agricultural data. The system expedites crop insurance claims, reducing settlement time from 45 to 7 days. Through a mobile app, it provides farm advisory services on crop health, pest management, fertilizer use, and weather forecasts. CLASS also supports banks in digital crop assessment for loan verification and assists in water resource management projects, making it a useful tool for various stakeholders in the agricultural sector.
