BAMIS (Bangladesh Agro-Meteorological Information) is amobile app and web based digital solution which provides agro-meteorological and hydrological information, advisory and forecasts to 64 districts of Bangladesh twice a week in respect of crop, weather sensitivities on crops, pests and diseases information and its linkages with weather. It also provides advisory on control measures and crop weather calendars. Agro-meteorological and hydrological information, forecasts and agromet advisories is disseminated through different modes to the farmers through the Department of Agricultural Extension and Agriculture Information Service. Special Agromet Advisory Services for livestock, poultry, and fishery is also avaible.
