Baimal is a mobile app deployed to provide weather advisory services for farmers, including tracking rainfall patterns locally, forecasting weather locally- (at the farm level) and making farming decisions based on short-term weather forecasts, including when to plant, apply fertilizer or harvest. The application also monitors fields using satellite imagery data and identifies specific patches needing attention or input applications. The application offers information that helps diversify cropping decisions and test new crops. The application developed by Ricult is currently deployed in Pakistan and Thailand.
