LDD's IM Farm game is an online scenario software created by the Department of Land Development for farmers, students and the general public. The purpose is to provide real-time environment scenarios for farmers before they grow their crops. The game or scenario information include real information to simulate planting 12 crops such as rice, corn, cassava, sugarcane, soybean, rubber, oil palm, pineapple, longan, rambutan, durian and mangosteen. Simulation players can choose the location for planting a particular crop using a base map or choose from the photo map. The system retrieve the soil group map, land use conditions, and identify the suitable soil group type for a specific crop. The application also adds additional information on the location including soil types, soil property information, soil health data, weather information, cost of planting crops at the provincial level, Information on fertilizer use, fertilizer prices, economic and social information, plant diseases, animals, pests and insects. At the end of the game, the player will immediately know how many products they have produced, with calculated values for income-expensea and simulated profits or loss. This software game can be used with PC computers or Mobile phones or Tablet supported by IOS and Android operating systems. The application is available both in English and Thai languages.
