Khaas Food, founded in 2015, provides the population of over 160 million in Bangladesh with access to safe, unadulterated, and wholesome food, thereby contributing to a healthier and happier life for current and future generations. It began as an e-commerce platform (web portal and mobile app) and since then has expanded to include a chain of 16 brick-and- mortar stores. They offer an extensive range of over 200 products, including dairy, honey, spices, oils, and more, catering to the diverse needs of their customers. At the heart of its business model is the direct procurement from a network of over 1 thousand farmers and 100+ SMEs bypassing traditional middleman. It helps to reduce cost associated with intermediaries and farmers to get fair price for their produce. They maintain close relationship with farmers, support by providing advise, modern farming technique and financial assistance and thereby ensuring quality and consistent supply. Quality assurance is the integral part of their operation. Each product goes under rigorous quality check and adhere to the standard of BSTI. They also process few products in their in house facility, where they monitor quality and safety of the product closely.
