The Bhutta (maize) mobile app provides advisory information on maize cultivation in riverine charland. It was developed to target women farmers in remote areas; 6 months of field research informed design. It contains visual and audio learning content for each stage of the crop lifecycle. The content inside the app is sufficient to take measures against common disease infestations. The app mainly provides information related to crops, livestock and disease alerts and agricultural and climate science.
