Gramophone is an online platform that serves farmers with information, technology and various essential inputs for agriculture production. The platform offers farm services such as crop protection, crop nutrition, seeds, machinery and agricultural hardware at their doorstep. Farmers receive expert agronomy advice through the agricultural app and can purchase from a wide range of agri-input products at competitive rates, with home delivery available. In 2021, Gramophone launched a new app called Vyapaarim, which connects farmers with buyers and facilitates crop sales through the platform. Farmers can access localized recommended practices, crop advisories, weather information and guidance on selecting appropriate crops to grow. The app covers several crops: soybeans, cotton, onions, potatoes, chillies, garlic, peas, aloe vera, mushrooms, tomatoes, papayas, wheat, gram, bananas and brinjals.
