Aquaculture Innovation Centre (AIC)

An initiative by Temasek Polytechnic, the Aquaculture Innovation Centre (AIC) supports the aquaculture industry in its productivity needs and aquabusiness objectives through project consultancies, extension services, technology licensing, applied research and technology development. Equipped with aquaculture facilities, AIC has worked with local and overseas enterprises as well as farms in more than 65 projects since its inception. These also include training in responsible aquaculture practices, research in technology development and translation with institutes of higher learning and research agencies. AIC supports and develop SMEs in the aquaculture industry with the aim of enhancing farming productivity through 1) Facilitate new growth areas 2) Drive farm productivity and product quality 3) Support safety, environmental sustainability and manpower productivity and 4) Raise resource efficiency and sustainability for applied research and services.
