Launched in 2021, the Digital Dera has been set up at Chak 26-SP (network of smart climate resilient digital villages in Punjab) in the Pakpattan region of Punjab, offering more than 2000 farmers from across the rural belt to help them find solutions to farming challenges by learning about the latest agriculture technology and services. This initiative specifically focuses on 3 major areas including 1) Connecting the unconnected by providing better internet facilities and other related infrastructure and services 2) Promoting climate resilient digital agriculture and 3) Climate smart mechnanization. It provides farmers with free access to Internet, digital solutions to increase yield and manage farms smartly.
