e-Chautari initiative (Geokrishi)

e-Chautari initiative is a community-based initiative for training and advisory services for farmers. The initiative, managed by Pathway Technologies and Services Pvt Ltd., serves as a hub equiped with internet connectivity that provide bundled solutions and services to smallholder farmers. e-Chautaries are housed in municipality and ward offices, cooperatives and farmer based organisations allowing an easy access to timely and contextualized information and knowledge products. Each e-Chautari has an assigned progressive farmer to facilitate its activities and serve as digital champions.
