THe Sindh Agriculture Extension Service Center is an initiative aimed to infuse ICT technologies and innovations for the agriculture extension staff. Developed and run by the Directorate General Agriculture Extension Sindh established Sindh Agriculture Extension Service Center with funding by the World Bank under Sindh Agricultural Growth Project (SAGP), the initiative was launched in 2018. The principal objective is to better serv the farming community by strengthening the existing Extension Services system with ICT tools an dtechnolicies for greater efficacy of the extension services delivery. Key services under the initiative is the establishment of Farmer Helpline, SMS and (interactive voice recording (IVR) services, YouTube channel, social media live exchange programs, Mobile Cinema Shows, youth Agriculture & IT Hybridization internship, and various android-based mobile apps as well as operating an E-marketing platform.
