Agromet Decision Support System (ADSS)
Bhutan
Developed by National Center for Hydrology and Meteorology, the Agromet Decision Support System (ADSS) of Bhutan is one of the key components of the Agro-meteorology Program which strengthens agro-met services. This web-based system integrates weather forecast from NCHM and RIMES forecast and provides real time monitoring, data analysis and comprehensive analytical tools and statistical information to support decision making across a range of temporal and spatial scales. This system is supported by the World Bank and powered by RIMES (regional integrated multi-hazard early warning system for Africa and Asia) which is an intergovernmental institution owned and managed by its member states, for building capacities in the generation and application of user-relevant early warning.
