Developed by Vietnam Digital Economy Cooperatives Association (VDECA), eGap is a web based digital initiative for the management, supervision, traceability, and connection of agricultural markets in Vietnam. The portal has been deployed in 10 provinces and cities nationwide. It serves the management and traceability of 4 commodity groups: crops, livestock, fisheries, and agricultural processing. The software acquires electronic logs, using both the Android and iOS platforms. With the use of electronic diaries, field cameras, real-time storage of information on the entire production chain, and monitoring and supervision of growing areas, farmers are guaranteed a stable output for their products and solid conditions for sustainable cultivation and animal husbandry. It informs producer in advance about the buyer and prices of their products so that they can develop and implement their production plans. The customer can check all information about the products by scanning a QR code.
